We realize the need to have a steady supply to ensure a safe environment for roadways, parking lots, driveways, and sidewalks.

Meteorologists try to correctly forecast what our winter season will look like ahead of time , but as we all know it’s hard for them to correctly forecast a week out much less a whole season ahead of time.

This being the case we carefully analyzed several years of the needs of our customers and built a new salt shed that has the capacity to hold a season’s worth of road salt.

This helps to ensure against radical price swings due to extreme cases like we all have experienced a couple times in the last decade, The extreme cold leading to waterways being frozen solid and barges unable to transport, problems with suppliers, either with production issues or shipments being re-diverted to other areas that are having more severe weather than us etc.
